WE YOU ME
Part of this year’s Candlewood Art Festival, We You Me is an exhibition that brings
together paintings, photographs, and sculptures by students from Borrego Springs
High School and Middle School alongside professional artists from past and current editions
of the Candlewood Festival. All the artists were given the loose prompt: “Self-Image.”
Different from a typical self-portrait, “self-image” has more to do with the psychological and
social picture we have of ourselves than the literal representation.
